After the raging success of our two day immersive workshop last September, we’ve decided to offer another full two day workshop these upcoming Easter Holidays for your 6 to 12 year old kids.
Chloë Waddell and Julie Smeros will be your instructors across the full two days guiding our young artists to follow their hearts and be inspired to create artworks using their own artistic voice.
What we loved about the two day workshop last year was the opportunity for our participants to fully immerse themselves in art making and further push their ideas with a combo of structured workshops and supported independent art making across the two days. Many students had one strong idea that they developed into a larger body of work across the two days while others worked on multiple separate projects trialling different techniques and experimenting with the materials we were offering.
As always, the content of the workshop will be flexible to allow for the particular skills and interests of the children involved. It will include such activities as: drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, paper-making, sculpture, assemblage etc. If your kids have attended one of our workshops before, you can be assured they will be doing new things, no two workshops are ever the same.
Our workshops are designed with the belief that art is a powerful medium through which children can explore, discover, and express their inner world in a supportive and fun environment.
Overall, these workshops lay a solid foundation for your child's creative life and contribute to their holistic development. The emphasis on process and fun ensures that the joy of creation remains at the core of their artistic experiences.
